Emma Moore

While Emma Moore brings ALL the fire you’d expect from a Redhead,
don’t get too comfortable at one of her shows.

With sass and charm in equal measure, Moore will have you singing along at the top of your lungs  to Country Rock smashes like ‘Dutch Courage’ –
then before you know it, be breaking your heart with one of her mesmerising ballads.

On first listen you could say Moore’s powerful vocals are her standout feature, but her real superpower is how she makes an audience feel during a show.

In fact, I dare you not to feel every word this Artist sings.

Since her debut album ‘Pilot’ was released in 2016, her trademark honesty and alternative views on life have only grown stronger. From Whiskey confessions in ‘The Bottom of the Bottle’, to finding love in the wrong places and wishes for people to value more than their appearance in ‘Trouble’ and ‘Southern Belle’ – no subject is off limits.

2018’s ‘Good Girl’ was no exception, speaking to the secret rebel inside us all. The track was played for 8 consecutive weeks on BBC Introducing upon it’s release, garnered over 30,000 streams on Apple Music and led to Moore and her band being invited to play Bob Harris’ Under The Apple Tree stage at the inaugural Long Road Festival that year.

After a “school break” (where she got her Masters Degree in Songwriting) Moore hit hard in 2019 with ‘Dutch Courage’. Often described as a “drinking song about not drinking” the festival ready hit is about being brave in love without the need of a drink.

In true style, Moore then took her audience on a complete 180, following ‘Dutch Courage’ with a live, acoustic version of her tearjerker ‘Waiting For You’. The cautionary tale to those keeping secrets too long has been silencing venues since its first performance, a London writers round with Grammy winning songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman. The track offers just a glimpse of what we can expect from future releases – with a full studio version now in the works as part of an all new EP coming in 2021

During lockdown Emma recorded a fiery set for The Hen House Presents Acoustic Sessions.
